This project, submitted for the TCDC competition, proposes a creative space in Phrae province that integrates local identity with sustainable innovation to support economic and social development. Covering 297 square meters, the design is structured around three key pillars, business, people, and place, through core programs such as Co-Creation (50%) and Creative Lab (33%), alongside supporting areas like Collection and Back Office. Central to the project is a multifunctional glass box that embodies a water cycle system, serving as a water tank, educational tool, and symbol of climate resilience. At its core, the innovative Water Cycle system not only addresses environmental challenges like climate change but also enhances material preservation and daily utility. The design’s thoughtful blend of tangible elements, like wood, fabric, and architecture, with intangible values, such as knowledge-sharing, cultural identity, and environmental stewardship, creates a transformative platform. The system collects, filters, and stores rainwater, which is used for wood preservation and public utilities, reinforcing environmental awareness and resource efficiency. The interior features locally crafted elements including an innovation platform, material libraries, and flexible workspaces that highlight local wood and fabric. By bridging designers, artisans, the community, and academia, this project offers a platform for knowledge exchange, creativity, and sustainable growth, positioning it as a replicable model for future regional development.
