The Evolution of Design: From a Core Concept to a Refined Architectural Experience

In this latest design iteration, we have preserved the project’s core concept and the narrative framework of the six exhibition zones while further refining the interior architecture to better respond to the physical characteristics of the site and create a more immersive visitor experience. The design evolution is expressed through three key enhancements.

1. Perfect Geometry: The Right Form for the Space

The Auditorium Core, positioned at the heart of the exhibition, has been reconfigured into a rectangular form. Through careful spatial planning and analysis, this geometry proved to be the most efficient solution, aligning seamlessly with the existing building structure while maximizing the functionality of the 570-square-meter exhibition area. The refined form improves circulation, optimizes usable space, and reinforces the clarity of the overall layout.

2. Canvas Wall & Floating Effect: Creating a Sense of Lightness and Discovery

The enclosure surrounding the Auditorium Core is constructed from a lightweight, highly flexible canvas material, introducing a distinctive architectural character.

The Floating Effect allows the auditorium volume to appear as though it is gently suspended above the floor, giving the central space a lighter and more elegant presence.

At the same time, the semi-transparency of the canvas creates a subtle visual connection between the interior and exterior spaces. Rather than completely separating the two environments, it reveals soft silhouettes and blurred movements of people inside, adding visual depth while stimulating visitors’ curiosity as they explore the exhibition.

3. Deep Charcoal Backdrop: Enhancing Light Through Contrast

The overall exhibition environment has been enveloped in a deep charcoal palette, creating a calm and understated backdrop for the immersive media experience.

This dark architectural canvas amplifies the visual impact of the LED ribbon and the exhibition’s vibrant blue and purple lighting, allowing digital content, graphics, and dynamic displays to shine with maximum clarity and intensity. The result is a dramatic contrast that heightens both the atmosphere and the emotional impact of the exhibition.

The Six Exhibition Journey: A Narrative That Continues to Inspire

Visitors continue to experience a seamless digital journey guided by the continuous LED ribbon, which flows throughout the exhibition and connects all six thematic zones into one cohesive story.

Zone 04 — Interactive Experience
An immersive environment where visitors engage directly with technology through interactive installations.

Zone 05 — Auditorium Core (Rectangle Canvas)
A multifunctional rectangular auditorium enclosed by a lightweight canvas envelope, serving as a professional venue for presentations and business meetings while seamlessly transforming into a collaborative co-working space when not in use.

Zone 06 — Future Thailand
A concluding vision of Thailand’s future, shaped by science, technology, and innovation.

Throughout the project, the design remains firmly committed to the principles of Universal Design, ensuring that this innovation exhibition is welcoming and fully accessible to people of all ages and abilities, including wheelchair users. By creating an inclusive environment without barriers, the project delivers an equitable, comfortable, and enriching experience for every visitor.
