The interiors of Plean Plang House V1 extend the architectural narrative of imaginative resilience into the tactile and spatial experience of the home. Rather than traditional room-boxes, the layout unfolds as a fluid sequence of spatial episodes, including a central lounge pavilion with panoramic glazing, a curved atrium kitchen, and sculptural bedroom pods nestled within green walls.
Material selections reflect both environmental ethos and sensory engagement: low-carbon concrete with texture reveals, bamboo-laminated joinery, translucent polycarbonate panels, and even moss-clad interior surfaces that invite direct contact with nature. Built-in furniture is custom-shaped to follow architectural curves, and storage is embedded within walls to preserve openness.
Lighting is designed as a layered composition, integrating daylight tunnels, indirect LEDs, and dynamic shadows from plant growth on façade trellises. Sound, airflow, and visual framing are orchestrated to enhance wellbeing, curiosity, and delight.
