By placing these programs on the upper level, the interior architecture reverses the standard vertical hierarchy, placing safety and collectivity above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Materials emphasize durability and simplicity: water-resistant wall finishes, raised utility lines, and modular storage systems accommodate both daily living and flood scenarios. The lower-level private residential spaces are built with flood-tolerant details, such as raised slab edges, ventilated foundation walls, and easy-to-clean surfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lighting and airflow are enhanced through open-plan sections, perforated partitions, and operable windows positioned to promote cross-ventilation.
