The interiors of Lhor Liang Farm reflect a raw, tactile, and welcoming palette. Inspired by the agricultural roots of the project, the café and dining areas are framed with exposed brick, straw ceiling bales, polished concrete floors, and locally woven lampshades, blending rustic charm with architectural order.
The layout promotes openness and cross-functionality: the café spills into shaded outdoor seating facing the farm; the restaurant opens onto the animal zone through large retractable doors; service areas are tucked behind thick masonry walls for thermal performance. Interior zones are punctuated by natural ventilation, daylight, and greenery, encouraging a passive cooling strategy that aligns with the farm setting.
Furniture and detailing are intentionally humble, custom-built wooden benches, steel-frame shelving, and integrated planting zones are used to define space without overwhelming it. The interior experience is not just about dining, but about dwelling in a farm-like rhythm, slow, grounded, and community-driven.
