The Office of SHERA is a 450 sq.m. interior design proposal that merges workspace, exhibition, and experimentation into a single unified environment. Designed as both a creative studio and showroom, the space reflects SHERA’s brand identity through the very materials the company innovates, cement composite panels, lightweight boards, and customizable modular elements.

Central to the design is a sense of collaboration and transparency. The open-plan workspace is arranged around flexible furniture clusters, shared worktables, and soft breakout zones that encourage spontaneous exchange among staff, engineers, and visiting collaborators. The spatial composition supports both focused work and collective design processes.

A key feature is the material-driven integration: SHERA’s products are not only exhibited but embedded into the design of the space itself. Walls become functional shelving systems made from SHERA boards; lounge chairs and benches are fabricated from lightweight composites; and partitions are designed as layered material prototypes, shifting between product and architectural surface.

The lighting system prioritizes natural daylighting where possible, combined with low-energy LED task and ambient lighting controlled by smart sensors. This contributes to the office’s goal of energy-efficient operation without compromising comfort or clarity.

The showroom zone is conceived not as a static display but as a living platform, a place where products can be touched, reconfigured, and discussed in use. Modular walls, pegboard display systems, and AR-integrated interfaces allow both technical teams and clients to experience the material potential in real-time.Ultimately, the Office of SHERA becomes a working prototype of its own philosophy, blurring the line between workspace and material lab, while demonstrating that sustainability and brand narrative can be physically constructed into the everyday.
